    昨年4月宮崎を訪れたサーバストラベラーからの2通目のメールを添付します。

    Dear Shinobu and Setsuko
Thank you for replying so quickly. We are so pleased to hear that no members of Servas were affected by the disasters. We were particularly worried about Noriko Okuyama, a young girl from Sendai, who visited us as a Servas guest last summer, but we have heard from her also and she and her family were all safe.
Our very best wishes to you all and we hope we can meet again in the future.
    Ev & Harl

    Dear Setsuko & Shinobu
How are you in this terrible time for Japan?
We have been in Spain for the last week or so and did not have our list of email addresses with us, so we could not write to you sooner to hear if you and your family are safe. We were so worried when we saw the horrifying pictures on the television in our hotel and our thoughts went out to you and all the other wonderful friends that we met through Servas, during our time in Japan last year.
Please write, if you have time, and let us know if you nd your family
    are safe.
    Best wishes,
    Ev & Harl

    Hi Nakazaki san,
We are so glad that you are all doing well. Yes, it's really sad to see all the
Japanese people losing their homes and everything....we hope that they can be
strong and persevere through this tragedy and build back their lives!!
In HK, we are all shocked as HK loves Japan, the food, the people, the culture,
etc. We all hope and pray for the Japanese. Even my vice-principal asked all
the students to pray for the country of Japan during our morning assembly this
morning. During my class, I also asked my Primary 4 students to write about
how they feel about the tsunami and they wrote their thoughts saying that they
were very sad and a few of them even drew people with tears. My students
are really caring and can feel the pain of people losing everything. One
boy said that after seeing all the devastation on tv, he realized that he is so
blessed with a big tv and xbox to play at home. He thinks that he is so lucky
to have so much!! I was so touched to read what he wrote. Some of my students
have relatives in Japan and they are worried about them. I hope that they can
    hear from them soon.

We are doing well in Hong Kong, very busy with work and school. Meanwhile, we
will continue to watch the news every day about Japan.
    Take care!!

    Best wishes,
    Meli & Rob
